Uninstallzy Privacy Policy

Nothing. Uninstallzy does not use the network. It has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no update checks. It never sends your file names, paths, app lists or any other information anywhere.

These stay on your Mac and appear only in the app window:

• The apps in /Applications and ~/Applications, including apps in folders inside them: names, bundle IDs, versions, sizes and modified dates.
• Which apps are running, so it can warn you and ask a running app to quit.
• Free and total space on your startup disk, for the small disk card in the sidebar.
• After an uninstall, whether a few well-known folders for that app exist in your Library, so it can show them in Finder. It only checks that they exist.

Two preferences, saved in ~/Library/Preferences/com.elegantmac.uninstallzy.plist:

• whether uninstalling is paused, and
• whether the welcome screen has been shown.

Nothing else is saved, and nothing is uploaded.

Uninstallzy has links (for example "Built by Elegantmac", Help, and Contact Support). The app itself does not connect to anything. When you click a link, your web browser or mail app opens. A support email opens as a draft that you can read and edit; nothing is sent until you press Send in your mail app.

If you email support@elegantmac.com, we receive what you choose to send: your email address, your message, and anything you attach, such as screenshots. A draft created from the app may include the app's name, version, location and the error message, plus your macOS and Uninstallzy versions. We use this only to answer you and to fix problems. We keep support emails only as long as we need them to help you.

Uninstallzy is bought on our website. Our payment provider acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, tax and invoices. It collects what it needs for that (such as your name, email, billing country and payment details) under its own privacy policy. The app never sees your payment details, and there is no license key to enter.

Visiting elegantmac.com is covered by the website's own privacy notice.

Because the app collects no personal data, there is nothing in it to access, correct or delete. For anything we hold about you, such as a support email, or if you have questions under laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act or CCPA/CPRA, email support@elegantmac.com and we will respond. For data held by the payment provider, contact it directly.

Uninstallzy does not collect data from anyone, including children.

• Apple frameworks only: SwiftUI, AppKit and Foundation.
• No third-party components or services.

Quit Uninstallzy and drag it from Applications to Trash. To remove the two preferences too, delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.elegantmac.uninstallzy.plist. Uninstallzy installs no helpers, login items or background agents.

If the app ever collects anything, this page will change first and the release notes will say so. The effective date above will be updated.
